Park Life Drawing: Glyn Hickling

Park Life Drawing: Glyn Hickling
Sun 16 May 9am-11:30am

We’ve partnered with Bunya House to deliver a Park Life Drawing class in May as part of the Hill’s Festival.

A relaxed and creative morning drawing musicians under the trees at Bunya Crossing Reserve.

The sessions are led by artist Rachel Apelt and are suitable for all levels, from beginners to experienced artists. Beginners will be supported and encouraged with tips and tuition. The musicians will play a mix of instruments and hold poses between 2 and 20 minutes duration.
These sessions are for adults and young people (12 years and older). School-aged young people must be accompanied by an adult. Numbers are capped at 12 participants.

An A4 sketchbook and basic drawing materials are provided, and you get to keep them, to encourage you to keep drawing! Feel free to bring your own favourite materials, and be aware anything larger than A3 is a challenge to draw on if you are seated in a picnic chair, so if you want to draw large, please bring a drawing board and your own paper.

This session is generously supported by a Moreton Bay Regional Council community grant.
