At Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism, our first priority is the health and wellbeing of not only our staff and volunteers, but of our entire community.
Our team has been closely monitoring the unfolding coronavirus situation and listening to advice from Queensland Health and Australian Department of Health.
Taking this advice and public safety into account, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Hills Festival and associated events including the Hills Carnivale.
We, just like you, are extremely disappointed and saddened by the decision to cancel these much-loved community celebrations, however, the safety and welfare of festival guests are our critical priority and the decision was made with this at the forefront.
On behalf of the Event organisers we'd like to thank all of our stakeholders involved in this event for their unwavering support and patience as we navigate through this difficult time.
We'll be back bigger and better in 2021!
